A great place to start cleaning your body is through your "gut". Our
digestive track is our main opening to the outside world and its
designed to filter the substances into which we come in contact. Our
gut is at center of our immune system and should be taken care of daily
with wholesome foods and beverages.
This is a list of foods that aid in the detoxification of your body.
*Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, 100% berry juice, bananas, and apples.
*Broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, radishes, beans and lentils, garlic, and onions.
* Whole grain rice, buckwheat, millet, and quinoa.
* Almonds, cashews, walnuts, and sesame seeds.
* Extra virgin olive oil, grape seed oil, flax seed oil, and nut oils other than peanut.
* Rosemary, parsley, cilantro, and thyme.
Things that are considered toxic to your body.
* Canned fruit, oranges*, and artificial juices.
* Corn, canned veggies in sauces, and soy products.
* Refined flours, wheat, rye, and barley.
* Peanuts and soynuts.
* All dairy excluding goats dairy.
* Margarine, butter, hydrogenated oils, cooking sprays, and mayonaise.
* Coffee, sweetened beverages, alcohol, and black tea.
*Eggs*, fried foods, fish and shellfish*, non-organic meats, artificial flavors, dyes, and preservatives.
*Some of these foods are actually good for you but the type of processing and farming has made them unsuitable for consumption.
We understand that it has become literally impossible to find what is
best for you at your regular supermarket and its too expensive to buy
at Oklahoma health food stores. A good alternative is to buy local at
farmer's markets or grow it yourself.
