While the holidays are meant to be a time of relaxation, enjoying the company of those you love, and remembering what the meaning of your celebration is, for many it instead means STRESS! Here are some tips to help relieve some of that stress this season.
Get 6-8 hours of sleep each night.
Exercise regularly.
Eat healthily. (Don't over or under eat.)
Practice relaxation techniques (meditation, yoga, massage, etc...)
Take regular breaks from work.
Decrease the use of alcohol and caffeine.
Some helpful supplementation for stress includes: B-complex Zinc, and Vitamin C aid the nervous system and immune system. Coenzyme Q10 helps with energy levels. Potassium aids the adrenal system, and Omega 3 Fatty Acids support normal body functions.
